In a Design Visualization class, I was tasked with creating a concept for a roller coaster based on a city, I chose Paris, and placed it in in the Champ de Mars.

I was aware that the concept of a roller coaster in the heart of Paris, is diametrically opposed to the Parisian ideals.  However, I took this as a challenge to design something that fits in with the surrounding architecture and celebrated the history of the city.

For the final presentation, I created a paper model of the concept and used projection mapping to give it a sense of motion.

This was my first attempt at projection mapping.  I utilized Photoshop and madmapper.
