Set Decorating, 2019

​

       Tasked with redesigning Sam and Jon's Kitchen from the Netflix comedy.

​

       Sam is an affluent interior designer, who is struggling with turning 40, and is cheating on her husband Jon.

      I wanted to represent those concepts in my design.

      I chose black and white for the cabinets to represent her moral choices.

      The green statement wall was chosen to represent money and jealousy.

      To represent her concern over her age, I chose vintage-inspired appliances, furniture, and lighting.  That may appear old but are new and operational underneath.
