The Plantation features large Live Oak trees, while they may appear pristine from the entrance, as you make your way through the queue you will begin to see the damage caused by the critical event. Guest will see the voodoo “relics” scattered throughout the yard and in the trees. The dolls hanging in the trees can be heard whispering, and guest will witness the dolls as they are caught in the middle of comical dioramas throughout the yard. The tour company’s logo and signage will be poorly plastered over much larger and more urgent warnings hung by locals.
Path
Guests enter through the property gates where they see that their presence is not necessarily welcome. They are greeted by warning signs haphazardly covered by the new tourism company.
Guests then go through the Asteria Adventures offices. The walls are ordained with posters to some of their other tour offerings, Colony of Roanoak, Winchester Mansion, and etc. As you walk through the offices you see that they have been receiving cease and desist letters from local government.
After leaving the office, guests proceed through the grounds of the mansion. The finished path quickly gives way to an "unfinished" trail as guests walk past a mysterious green fire, a spooky old cabin, and voodoo dolls rowing around a pond.
Upon entering the house, the guests will be ushered into one of two identical preshows. As the guests wait in a distressed living room, on display like a museum. They witness the Queen's voodoo doll minions tell her that there are people in the house. She becomes enraged and tells the dolls that she will deal with the guests.
At this point, the doors fly open and Cast Members lead guests out and to the loading area for the boat ride.

Story
Asteria Adventures, a new tour company has set up a new tourist destination outside New Orleans. Inspired by the new "Dark Tourism" trend, this new experience is located on the former property of a famed Voodoo Queen, whose disappearance is surrounded by mystery. The picturesque plantation is littered with relics of her former activity, however, they are not as seem.
In a final act before her impending death, the queen was able to perform one final spell. But when the spell backfired it transferred her soul into a nearby porcelain doll.
As in her life, the Queen is assisted by her loyal minions, enchanted voodoo dolls, who while inept serve as her eyes and ears throughout the property.
Now as the Queen is preparing to regain her former body, she is told by her minions that the first tour group is ON THEIR WAY.
